SCOOTIN' ON BY
15H 2003 BLACK AND WHITE SSHBEA GELDING

It’s been a couple of years now since we first started Scooter under
saddle. He has been a real pleasure to work with and watch develop.
Although his training sessions were sometime rather sporadi9c, I
never had to start over on a training session or maneuver. He always
seemed to pick right up where we left off, no matter how long the
layoff.
He has been hauled and ridden down in Missouri a couple of times, up
to Wisconsin a few trips, not to mention lots of state parks and
saddle club rides here around home. He has become a real “go
anywhere” type of trail horse. We’ve been able to subject him to
some pretty challenging situations and he’s handled them like a
seasoned pro.
He is easy to catch (he catches you), clip (doesn’t even have to be
tied), haul (open the trailer door and get out of the way), and
shoe. He parks out and will stand by a mounting block, picnic table,
much bucket, tree stump, or anything else that makes the mounting
process a little easier. He’s extremely sensitive to leg pressure
performing leg yields and side passes as well as front and hind
quarter turns. He has a nice square running walk but will drop his
head and quietly adjust his pace when riding with stock horses.
Scooter might be just a little too much for a beginner or a timid
rider, but if you consider yourself to be at the intermediate talent
level and are looking for a Cadillac ride as well as an “in your
pocket” type of equine partner that will provide years of
pleasurable hours on the trail, Scooter might just be the ticket.
He’s up to date on Coggins, worming, vaccinations and hoof care.
He’s ready to make this fall’s riding season the best ever.

15 H 2004 BLACK & WHITE SSHBEA GELDING
This gelding is a full brother to Scooter, but with just a little
finer build and a bit more white. Time has not allowed us to do the
things with this little guy that should have been done and that he
deserves. He has been started under saddle with maybe a dozen rides
or so under his belt. He’s easy enough to work with. Just hasn’t had
the opportunity to learn anything yet. Have ridden him around home
and had him out to a state park a couple of times.
If you’ve ever had the desire to have a true trail partner that you
were able to develop and train exactly to your specifications here’s
an opportunity to acquire a top quality individual with unlimited
potential at a fraction of his future value.
